A New Year and A New Start at Work

Finally getting around to writing in here has been to say the least a bumpy ride with a lot of detours. Every time I wanted to come in here and write a little I got side tracked by either my shows or playing this new game Carisa got me all into. I am grateful for the distraction in my life cause it took away all the wondering and mindless hours of feeling sorry for myself and not really getting anything accomplished.

Anyway let see the year started out or should I say last year ended with all the clean up of equipment containers, chassis and what not's that had to be transported over to the new terminal. So as January rolled around I picked up the job to move the last bit of chassis being picked up by the various trucking companies. This was actually a great way for me to be alone and not have to worry about making mistakes being that my mind at the time was all over the place.  I was just glad to make it through each day as they came and went.

So at the beginning of the year I was now picking up jobs at the new terminal and trying to get used to whole new layout of this yard.  So between working either the yard, ship and occasionally the Tower jobs I was getting back into the swing of things and trying to keep moving forward.  Hard to believe that it has been already 2 yrs since Josh passed away but I guess time waits for no one and flies by faster and faster each year.

Well I wish I could say that the rest of the year went by without a bump, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.  It was filled with a lot of ups and downs that made for the wild ride we called life.  Between pay cuts and the steady cutting back of the number of jobs available at this CUT.  That added to the fact I had another failed attempt at getting hired, and this all to the fact that someone was holding a grudge against me for something that I had done over 10 yrs ago.  So I will finally signing off on this blog as I am at a loss for the rest of the info of the remaining of they year.
